Screening
With more open plan schemes
being developed, whether this be a city living apartment or an open
plan warehouse. Screening is an ideal way of changing the aesthetics
of a room by introducing new materials. Zoning an area breaks open
spaces giving these zones form and function. Examples may include using
screening to create a cosy seating area or to clearly divide a room
without the need for adding a wall, which still allows a degree of
light allowing the room to flow from area to area.
Materials range from:
- Glass or Acrylic: semi/clear or patterned to a colour and design of your choice.
- Wood: Panelled/ slatted/ woven: The designs are endless.
- Thread: Fixed to a track or baton which can be cut in various shapes and lengths. Available in either one colour or panelled as a mixture of colours.
- Metal Beads: Available in nickel plated or brass finish.
- Acrylic Beads: Available in a variety of colours including pearl and iridescent finish.
- Chain: Available in straight or staggered link chain which can be printed with your own design.
